If a fire occurs in the laboratory, laboratory personnel may respond to the fire or evacuate the area and activate the fire alarm. Do not attempt to extinguish fires that are clearly out of control or beyond your training and comfort level. Anyone that is expected to handle a fire extinguisher in an emergency should be trained in fire extinguisher use. This training is available through Department of Fire Safety and Emergency of Riyadh City.
